Challenge
A Kansas City, MO homeowner had an open section in the ceiling that needed to be professionally repaired. The damaged area exposed plumbing above the ceiling and required new drywall, finishing work, and blending into the surrounding ceiling surface. Solution
Drywall Doctor protected the work area with plastic containment before installing new drywall to close the ceiling opening. The patch was secured, taped, mudded, and feathered into the surrounding ceiling. The repaired area was then finished and painted to help it blend with the existing surface. The completed repair restored the ceiling and left the previously open area looking clean and finished.
