Challenge

A large section in the middle of this ceiling had been opened, leaving the framing exposed and interrupting the existing popcorn finish. Closing the opening was only part of the job as the repaired section also needed to blend back into the surrounding textured ceiling.

Solution

New drywall was installed and finished across the opening, with the surrounding room protected throughout the work. Popcorn texture was then applied to match the existing ceiling, followed by paint to bring the repaired area back to a finished, uniform look.
